Can you believe it is Day 3 of NaNoWriMo? I hope everyone has been meeting their 1, 667 word a day because I know I for one have NOT. In my defense, day one was my 12th wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful day visiting the wonderful artsy town of New Hope, PA window shopping, lunching, train spotting, sipping an Irish coffee, and then more window shopping! After the hour and fifteen minute ride home everyone was beat! So I managed a measly 48 words.

But the point was I wrote something anything down! And you should be doing so too.

It is so hard for us writers to ignore our “inner editor” but at this stage of the game that is the point! You can edit all next month, and the one after, and the one after, and you get the idea.

Here is a great article by Jennifer S. Brown over at the Debutante Ball with great advice for all of us NaNoWriMo-ees!
